The first integration is the cheap one. It's the second that hurts
FreeNow by Lyft has begun testing Baidu's Apollo Go vehicles in London, and says they will run alongside its existing taxi and private hire supply rather than replace it. That makes three London platforms — with Uber and Waymo — each building its own way of sending work to human and autonomous supply together. Every one of those builds serves exactly one counterparty. None of the work extends to the second, or the third.
