The trouble with one-to-one deals is that they only suit one party at a time

Waymo is reported to be exploring an exit from its Uber partnership, having already ended the Phoenix pilot in June. The friction is instructive: terms one side found unsustainable, disputes over vehicles becoming unavailable in bad weather, disagreements about routing. None of that is personal. It is what happens when the terms are fixed once, in a contract, and then have to hold as the service changes around them. Terms that can be adjusted by either side, without reopening the relationship, do not fail that way.

Where we sit

That is the principle this is built on. Terms that live in a configuration rather than a contract can be changed by either side without reopening the relationship.

Omnia is built for both sides of that. A party with work connects once and reaches any fleet it has agreed terms with. A fleet connects once and is reachable by any source of work it has agreed to accept. Neither gives up control of who it deals with.
